This was a local project which came to us via recommendation as well as upon seeing the excellent reviews we have compiled to date.
As you will see from the pictures when we took one if the old windows out, the frame had become completely rotten from prolonged exposure to the elements. The window had become dangerous so was in urgent need of being replaced, so we completely rebuilt the frame as well as painted and resealed the frame.
The clients hope to live 25+ years in the house and accordingly planned a major refurbishment project on this early 19 century Georgian property. Our part was to breathe new life into sash windows. In addition we were tasked with reducing draughts, minimising traffic noise – two goals achieved through the installation of our draught proofing service.
The clients were intent on a high quality finish to fit with the attractive look of the property. We were asked to undertake a thorough service, fully stripping off all external paint which allows us to check the boxes and deal with any decay identified.
